Introduction:

JCB3-63DC miniature DC circuit breaker is designed for solar / photovoltaic PV system, energy storage and other direct current DC applications.They are mainly placed between batteries and hybrid inverters.
JCB3-63DC DC circuit breaker provides scientific arc extinguishing and flash barrier technology to fulfill quick and safe current interruption.
JCB3-63DC DC circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both a thermal and an electromagnetic release that is available in 1 pole ,2pole, 3 pole and 4 pole versions. The switching capacity is 6kA according to IEC/EN 60947-2. The DC rated voltage is 250V per pole, rated voltage up to 1000V DC.
JCB3-63DC circuit breaker is available with rated currents of 2A to 63A.
JCB3-63DC dc circuit breaker offer new features, better connection, superior performance and increased levels of security. Its breaking capacity is up to 6kA.
JCB3-63DC dc circuit breaker can be locked (by a padlocking device) in OFF position as a safety measure for removal of the PV inverter
Since a fault current can flow in the reverse direction to the operating current, the JCB3-63DC Circuit breaker can detect and protect against any bidirectional current. To ensure the safety of the installation, it is necessary, depending on the various types of application, to combine the circuit breaker with:
• a residual current device at the AC end,
• a fault passage detector (insulation monitoring device) at the DC end
• an earth protection circuit breaker at the DC end
In all cases, fast action on site will be required to clear the fault (protection not ensured in the event of a double fault).WANLAI JCB3-63DC dc Circuit breakers are not polarity sensitive: (+) and (-) wires can be inversed without any risk. The circuit breaker is: delivered with three inter-pole barrier to provide increased isolation distance between two adjacent connectors
