Introduction

JC3BE-DC miniature DC circuit breaker is designed for solar / photovoltaic PV system, energy storage and other direct current DC applications.They are mainly placed between batteries and hybrid inverters.
JC3BE-DC DC circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both a thermal that is available in 1 pole ,2pole, 3 pole and 4 pole versions. The switching capacity is 10kA according to IEC/EN 60947-2. The DC rated voltage is 250V per pole, rated voltage up to 1000V DC.
JC3BE-DC circuit breaker is available with rated currents of 2A to 63A.
JC3BE-DC circuit breaker offer new features, better connection, superior performance and increased levels of security. Its breaking capacity is up to 10kA.
JC3BE-DC dc circuit breaker can be locked (by a padlocking device) in OFF position as a safety measure for removal of the PV inverter
Since a fault current can flow in the reverse direction to the operating current, the JC3BE-DC Circuit breaker can detect and protect against any bidirectional current. To ensure the safety of the installation, it is necessary, depending on the various types of application, to combine the circuit breaker with:
a residual current device at the AC end,
a fault passage detector (insulation monitoring device) at the DC end
an earth protection circuit breaker at the DC end
In all cases, fast action on site will be required to clear the fault (protection not ensured in the event of a double fault). The circuit breaker is: delivered with three inter-pole barrier to provide increased isolation distance between two adjacent connectors
